MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. Explosions were heard in Ukraine’s capital Kiev and in the northern city of Zhitomir, the TSN television reported.

According to the report, air defenses were in operation in the Ukrainian capital. No information is known about Zhitomir.

An air raid warning was in force in 15 regions of Ukraine in the early hours of Sunday, but is now cancelled.
