BLAGOVESHCHENSK, November 30. /TASS/. A business resident of the Amur advance-development territory organized a transport company to rent equipment, serve passengers and cargos, the Amur Region's government said.
"The Transport Management Service Integrator Company has commissioned at the Amur advance-development territory in the Amur Region an enterprise that provides services to transport passengers and cargo, and to rent equipment," the release reads.
Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, more than 750 million rubles ($8.5 million) were allocated for the purchase of more than 320 vehicles and related equipment, and 474 jobs were created. The main clients are other business residents of the Amur advance-development territory, including enterprises of the gas chemical cluster that is being created in the region. The company plans its capacity would be almost 1,000 machine hours a year.
"In addition to vehicles to transport passengers, we have purchased trucks and special equipment, which we rent together with the crews. Under the project, we have equipped a parking lot, have made auxiliary facilities and a repair facility. We pay special attention to the safety and quality of provided services - we conduct medical examinations of employees and technical inspections of transport, and we observe all the applicable rules and regulations. Besides, a certain part of our equipment runs on gas fuel, giving additional savings and cutting the impact on the environment," the regional government quoted the company's CEO Denis Gulin as saying.
According to the Corporation, the Amur advance-development territory's 49 residents have been implementing projects, and 15 enterprises, created with state incentives, are operating already. Businesses have invested about 1.5 trillion rubles ($17 billion) in their projects and have created more than 8,000 jobs.
